Waitlist Policy
One of the goals of Eastside Crusaders Junior Football is to provide the opportunity for as many young people as possible to participate in the sport of football. ECJF policy gives returning players preference for roster spots during an exclusive early enrollment period. During open enrollment however, we may have more players sign up than we have room for at a given weight/age bracket. On those occasions, players will be placed on a waitlist and allowed to join a team as roster spots become available. Players will be taken off the waitlist according to the following criteria. Please note that these criteria are NOT in priority order.
- ECMS student
- Returning player
- Sibling in program
- Friends in program (especially if there is a carpool situation)
- Parochial/private school student
- Prior experience (Safety not talent issue. Applies more at the upper levels)
- Date of signup
